| Primary Job Responsibilities | The Allied Systems Information Security team is responsible for assessing and managing technology risks for Allied Systems’s information assets. The group, among others, develops and publishes information systems policies and standards, performs risk assessments of key projects & systems, helps the development and architecture teams integrate an information security framework into the SDLC, performs security audits, and develops and delivers information security awareness and training content. We currently have two positions open in the Information Security group – although the requirements are the same, in terms of responsibilities one of them will be focused on technical issues, while the other will focus on processes, conceptual aspects, and project management. Primary responsibilities will be as follows: - Perform risk assessments for new projects and the associated infrastructure and applications; periodically perform risk assessments of the existing infrastructure and applications. Assess effectiveness of internal controls (both information security and IT in general). - Participate in the SDLC, both in a risk assessment and in an advisory role (for best practices such as secure coding, application security architecture, integration with control frameworks such as IDM, logging, etc). - Provide information security consulting services to internal groups; these services will include engineering, architecture, vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and more. - Perform risk assessments of 3rd party organizations; help refine and automate the assessment process. - Help define operational processes to ensure predictable operational outcomes; refine Information Security processes and procedures. - Develop security awareness training content and participate in the delivery of the content, as needed. - Participate in the development, review, and update of information systems policies and standards. - Participate in the incident management program, both from a development/refinement point of view and an implementation/operations point of view. - Interact and influence both highly technical staff as well as senior management; must be able to earn the trust and respect of both groups. - Work with internal and external auditors to evaluate compliance with internal policies and standards as well as regulatory requirements. - Maintain knowledge of security and privacy law, industry best practices, and changes in technology, and advise on the impact for Allied Systems. | ||
| Job Requirements | Broad expertise in information technology with at least 8 years overall experience of which 5 years should be in an Information Security role. Financial services, especially in a large/global/diversified organization, or large/global Internet eCommerce organization background will be considered a plus. CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC or other industry certifications will be considered a plus as well.
Must Have:
1. Technology/information risk management experience in analyzing business processes and the related technology that supports these processes. Experience in performing risk assessments (e.g., evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, likelyhood, and impact) and identifying mitigating controls. 2. Comprehensive technology background; expertise in at least two of the following: distributed systems (Linux, Solaris, Windows), networks (LAN/WAN technologies, firewalls, routers, etc), enterprise applications (such as IDM, databases, and application development and architecture (SDLC, .NET, PHP, J2EE). 3. Excellent understanding of mitigating controls at the systems, network, and application level (HIPS, NIDS, server hardening, database controls, etc). Expertise in integration and correlation of various controls/applications (vulnerability assessment, logging, NIDS, etc) 4. Good understanding of information security and risk management frameworks such as CobiT, ISO17799, and COSO. 5. Understanding of SOX 404, PCI, FFEIC, GLBA, OFAC, the Patriot Act, and other regulatory requirements for the financial services sector. 6. Ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships with a diverse community (in and outside of technology); ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences. 7. | Job Requirements |
•BS/BA in CS or related field. •5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in Windows and UNIX environments. •Expertise in designing and implementing asynchronous solution for large scalable systems ( prefer database queuing and TIBCO messaging experience.) •Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in C++, Java and J2EE, including servlets, JSP, Java Beans, EJB, JMS, RMI, JDBC. •Expertise required in design and implementation using relational databases (prefer Oracle). •Successful deployment for a large enterprise system based on candidate’s own design efforts. •Outstanding presentation and written skills as well as an ability to deal effectively with both technologists and business representatives. | Primary Job Responsibilities | A Network Engineer position on the Network Support team is responsible for daily support of a large mult-datacenter network as well as a global corporate network with dozens of locations. 24x7 on-call support is required one week out of five. A majority of the daily job will be resolving network service tickets along with troubleshooting performance issues, maintaining and monitoring network equipment. Additional responsibilities may include attending project meetings, managing network capacity, deploying equipment, implementing process improvements, administering network management systems. | ||
| Job Requirements | 5+ years of related experience, including: 4+ years of experience using Cisco L3/L2 switches & routers from 1700 to 6500 series. 4+ years of experience troubleshooting TCP/IP and ethernet networks. 3+ years of BGP & OSPF routing in multi-gigabit environment. Ability to be in 7x24 on-call rotation one week in five or more frequently. Troubleshooting / finding root cause in network issues. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, packet capture and analysis.
